The SMTP service is totally not working on our LAN as well as from any stand alone PC.

ANSWER
- please check Domain DNS .. appear not completly correct
- Be sure to enable SMTP Authentication in your Email client or you may not be able to send outgoing mail
- check if your local network prohibt SMTPing
